Why volunteer?

Volunteering "is a non-paid, freely chosen activity, which generally happens within an independent organisation or associations."

The volunteer is a person of "good will", who wants to feel useful and do something for others. He is involved in many and varied fields, such as sports, culture, humanitarian aid, health, welfare, defence of human rights, environmental eco-volunteering etc..

Safety, support and assistance abroad

The greatest fear for any future traveller (and for their friends and families) is safety. That's why we strive to make sure your program takes place in the best conditions.

We choose our countries of operation mainly for their security and political stability. We constantly follow the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and are in daily contact with the local staff.

We set up several support materials and advice for each destination:

  1. A guide to the country which you will receive before you leave *
  2. Our team in Europe is available before, during and after your stay
  3. Local teams can be contacted by phone 7 days a week once you are in the country
  4. Your host family and other volunteers

For all our programs, we work with experienced professionals who have lots of experience in hosting and leading volunteers/students. They are there for you in any situation, from minor homesickness to the most serious situations. They will be able to advise you or help you.

They are available 7 days a week.

Internships abroad

Most of our programs can count as internships. Our volunteers accompany teams of professionals who can act as guardians. Contact us for more information.

We recommend you contact your doctor for the recommended vaccines or any other medication you will need during your stay.

In our pre-departure guide, you will find useful general information that can help you.

Insurance and visa

We have decided not to include travel insurance and cancellation in our rates, because it is often cheaper to go through your usual insurer. Travel insurance is compulsory, and must cover the entire duration of your stay.

If you want advice, contact us, our staff are experienced travellers.

In the specific country Guides, that you will receive once enrolled, you will find all the necessary information for a possible visa. It costs between 20 and 200 € depending on the destination and duration of stay. Note that for all of our destinations, whether you need a visa or not, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.
