Centre for abandoned children

Join a centre for abandoned children and take care of them !

This project started in 1997, and aims to protect the rights and meet the needs of disadvantaged children. Children who have been or are about to be abandoned are hosted in the centre, which provides safe housing and where the staff is considered as " a second family".

Couronnes et enfants au Pérou - Globalong

Children are aged from 0-10 years. The project leaders try to reintegrate children into their biological families and mediate to achieve this. When this option is not possible, they try to find an adoptive family. Volunteers work alongside the centre staff taking care of children. Many workshops are offered to stimulate their personal development and fight against the harmful effects of alcohol or drugs.

For older children, professional workshops are also offered. You can organize games and fun activities appropriate to the age of the children, such as drawing, art, sports, music or dance. Your daily schedule is packed and you will participate in many activities during your mission.
