Community development

Help underprivileged communities in Peru !

Get to meet Peruvians by participating in this placement in the heart of the Andes culture. You will participate in one of our projects to help poor communities.

Relax au Pérou - Globalong

One of the biggest aims of this placement is to get rid of poverty, which is transferred from generation to generation in some communities, by providing access to education; health care, nutrition and helping people find their personal identity.

One of our projects, that is supported through donations, offers shelters for pregnant women, widowed fathers and aged or adoptive parents who care for children under 14 years. The purpose is to inform parents, provide access to education for children, make sure they have a regular medical check-up, teach them how to access a decent standard of living and, for example help them declare their new-born children who will then gain legal status in Peru.

Enseignement dans la rue au Pérou - Globalong

The second project focuses on literacy and has opened street libraries, which offer free classes to the poorest children.

The third project provides a home for children and teens during the day, offers them a light meal, psychological, and vocational training to graduates.
