The number of young orphan animals treated in the centre has increased these last years.

Once they are cured, some animals are reintroduced in their natural habitat while others have to stay for the rest of their life.

In this centre in South Africa, you will discover various animal species from little birds to wild boars or deer.

Several zoos, who cannot take care of their animals for different reasons, send them to this centre.

As a volunteer in this centre in South Africa, your tasks could be:

  • singes en afrique du sud - globalongPrepare the meals and feed the animals (which can take about 1 hour in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon)
  • Wash and maintain enclosure
  • Observe eventual difficulties of the animals
  • Welcome and take care of injured animals

These animals are docile and the centre encourages the volunteers to interact with them.

During your volunteer period, you will have the chance to see for example servals, crocodiles or cheetahs.
