Volunteering in South Africa

The program starts with an « introduction » week. During these few days, you will go on some outings and you will receive useful information about the country, its culture and society in order to prepare for your volunteer program. This introduction week is very important, it will help you get used to the new surroundings and understand the country.

Non exhaustive exemple of an introduction week in South Africa:
  • Day 1: Meeting with the coordinator and information about the programme. She/He will give information about what to do/see, what no to do etc. In the afternoon, a city tour is organized with a visit of the information centre, where you can get information about trips, outings, cultural events, etc.
