bénévolat en tanzanie avec globalong

The volunteer programme starts every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. You will be met the day before at Kilimanjaro International Airport.

To avoid culture shock, we organize 1-3 days of immersion including an introduction the culture, customs, religions and the Tanzanian daily life, which will save you any possible awkwardness with the population.

You will also be informed about your volunteer assignment, accommodation and living conditions. The coordinator will remain available in case of doubts or questions.

Globalong volunteer in tanzaniaYou will take part in a guided tour of the city and learn basic vocabulary in Swahili as the coordinator organizes the paperwork for your work permit.

If you take part in the Tanzania volunteer programme, you will receive a comprehensive guide to the mission, as well as advice and information before leaving.

Meals and accommodation in Tanzania :

Most of our volunteers prefer to stay in the volunteer’s house in Arusha, where there are double or single rooms, a TV room, a bathroom and toilet.

A security guard guards the house and there is a cook who prepares meals for everyone. This is a great way to meet other volunteers.

The coordinator`, who organizes safaris, is also based in the house. If you prefer a more authentic accommodation for a more complete immersion, you can choose to stay with a local host family, where at least one member of the family speaks English.

Volunteer programme TanzaniaYou will have 3 meals a day and you will share the house with the family. A classic meal in Tanzania consists of a little meat or fish with rice, and fruit for dessert.

Do not expect luxury, you will have the same meals as the family.
